The Stark Truth About Business

October 3, 2017

"Value Realized"

The sole purpose of owning a business is to realize value. What value means to you could be different, but for the most part, business owners consistently want three things daily: more time, more profit and more freedom. And of course, when the time comes to transition out of your business realizing value is: more options, more offers and more profit.

Achieving Value Realized begins with the design of your business. If your business isn't giving you the value you need today, the impact will be felt on your daily life, but it will also impact the eventual sale of your business. No one wants to buy "your job," Buyers look for businesses that are already providing value to the owner.
The stark truth is your business is perfectly designed to get the results you are getting today.
If you want different results you must change the design of your business. Make no mistake; we will never pretend that redesigning your business is "easy." It isn't. If it was easy everyone would have a perfectly designed business providing them with the value they want daily. It is however, extremely achievable. You don't have to start from scratch. There is a method to the madness, and it starts with you making the decision to start redesigning your business to create "Value Realized."

The good news is redesigning your business to get better results today can be the same elements that will create a business of value that buyers are willing to pay premium price for when you are ready to exit your business.

This week, we challenge you to think about the results you are currently getting from your business and ask, "Have you intentionally designed your business to achieve "Value Realized?"
