Jenn Pierce's Tribute to Michael Gerber for his 80th Birthday

It all started with a book.  The E-Myth Revisited:  Why Most Small Businesses Don't Work and What to Do About It by Michael Gerber was the catalyst behind the business we know today as Benchmark Business Group.  In close collaboration with Michael Gerber, Bob and Susan Clements set out to design a prototype E-Myth Coaching Center, hiring, training, and mentoring business coaches.  From there, the rest is history.

On Monday, June 20, Micheal Gerber will celebrate his 80th birthday.  To recognize him and the impact he has made on our company, a few members of our staff, who have been personally affected by Michael, have put their thoughts about him into words.  Here is one of their stories...

It’s nearly impossible to quickly sum up the difference Michael Gerber and his body of work has made in my life.  I first found Michael’s point of view in the E-Myth Revisited at a time in my life where I had lost sight of what I wanted or even who I was.  Going through the Primary Aim process and learning how to use the Key Frustrations process to solve frustrations simply changed the way I approach every single opportunity life has in store for me.  This isn’t to say that life is all roses.  I still have the same challenges and opportunities, but I know the secret to my ability to live the life I want is in the tools I’ve learned from Michael's work.
