We are seeking to train a confident individual to work with our internal team, business brokers (mergers and acquisitions advisors) and business owners to determine the market value of the businesses we serve, both at the initial listing consideration stage and ongoing throughout the process of selling their business.
This position requires a focused individual that has strong communication skills, can quickly establish working relationships, has a natural curiosity about business, and a willingness to learn and grow. Valuation analysis takes place in the office, communicating by phone, email and zoom with prospects throughout the United States. Some previous education in finance and/or accounting is required, along with experience in analyzing business financial documents. Some experience in valuation work specifically is desirable. Reasonable computer skills and familiarity with the use of Excel and similarly based program software required.

Our business brokerage division has taken those services to another level, assisting business owners in realizing the value they have spent a great deal of time and effort creating. Our comprehensive training will provide you with the chance to make a difference in the lives of our clients and potential clients, as you learn to leverage your talents and enhance your skills in working with businesses to begin the journey toward realizing value.
Typical work hours at our Des Moines location are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and free on-site parking is available. The position provides a base salary commensurate with experience plus revenue sharing with paid personal leave, holidays, and great benefits included in our employment package.
Our group of professionals includes business coaches, business brokers, business advisors and support staff, including administration, marketing and finance. Our Business Valuation Analyst reviews financial and related information on businesses owned by prospective clients and existing clients, communicates with internal management, brokers, and clients regarding further information needed to perform a thorough analysis and valuation, and prepares estimated fair market value determinations in a wide variety of business types and sizes.
